Hotel Tenpyo Naramachi

My Christmas stay had some great things to offer. the first advantage was that this hotel was situated on a lively street, which allowed me to immerse myself in the local culture. the hotel's location was also excellent, with some key train stations just a short walk away. the public bath in the basement was a great way to relax after a long day exploring the area.

My sleep here was affected by the paper-thin walls, making it difficult to get any rest. the clock tower across the street disturbed my sleep twice, as it went off loudly at midnight and 6 am.

Convenient location for transportation and access to the famous local attractions. The surrounding ambiance is lively, with plenty of food options, great shopping, and sightseeing. The hotel's public bath is a desirable amenity for relaxation.

The walls are super thin in our room; hardly any soundproofing.

Positive aspects of the hotel: Excellent location, lively neighborhood, proximity to Nara train station, shopping and dining options, close to Nara Park and deer.

Negative aspects of the hotel: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We loved how conveniently located this hotel was, with easy access to transportation and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The cleanliness was also excellent, with well-maintained hotel facilities that included a fantastic public bath.

Can't fault anything about it.

Located downtown near various shops and restaurants, this hotel provides easy access to popular tourist attractions in the area, including a park with friendly deer. the public bath is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Although the walls are a bit thin, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with amenities such as a tea kettle and toiletries.

The clock tower across the street can be quite loud at certain times, which may pose a challenge for light sleepers.
